Armadale City Concert Band gave the first performance to open the new amphitheatre in Orchard Road Armadale. Magnificent balmy weather made for very enjoyable circumstances for the appreciative audience. A crowd of nearly 200 on rugs and chairs enjoyed a ninety minute performance of entertainment music.

There are several vacancies for the 2010 season, especially in the Flute, Percussion, Clarinet, Oboe, Saxophone and Tuba sections. A position of Co-Principal Trumpet may be available by audition as may a position in First Clarinet section. New players on any band instrument are always welcome and are encouraged to come along and try us out. We have instruments available for hire if required. |
